How Cultural Competency of Community Health Care Providers Reflects Multicultural Education: A Case Study on Nursing Majors

In the current global era, multicultural education is a requisite for those who attain higher education, such asnursing majors working in community with people from variety of cultural backgrounds. This study aimedto explore effect by identifying competency (CC) and multiculturalacceptance (MA) among two groups students professionals majored nursing.A series surveys was conducted targeting nursing clinical professionals. Out 189participants, data 98 participants experience 91 withoutexperience analyzed. Independent t-tests, correlation tests, regressionanalysis were to examine identify correlationbetween CC MA factors influencing them through comparison each group. Theresults demonstrated major points. First, shown enhance MAof participants. Second, knowledge important influencingMA.These results can be used provide educational direction regarding multiculturalacceptance, ultimately leading provision better healthcare services communities.
